IMPORTANCE OF KEEPING THE ENVIRONMENT CLEAN?Find Out!
Environment is a place where humans as well as plants and animals live together in perfect harmony. So to retain this harmony it becomes necessary to keep our environment clean for fresh air and pollution free atmosphere. An unclean environment leads to a bad deteriorating condition of a society in the form of contagious diseases etc. Hence it is essential to maintain a healthy eco system.
Key types of pollution are air, water, soil, noise, radioactive, light and thermal. They are adversely affecting our environment. All types of pollution, and environmental concerns, are interlinked and influence one another. So, to tackle one is to tackle them all. Due to the use of pesticides and fertilisers, the ground gets contaminated and during rainy seasons, water percolates down along with the contamination.
An effective way to combat this is to regularly use bleaching powder around the bore wells, wells, toilets, garbage areas etc. Trash should be separated systematically for recycling; paper, glass, aluminium cans and plastic should be sent for recycling. Grow your own lawn. Start a compost pit. Switch to eco-friendly cleaning products. Eliminate the use of paper plate and paper utensils, single use plastics. Do not use single use plastics.
Maintain a Healthy Eco System:
It is the need of an ecosystem to have good interaction with green plants, organisms and animals in a healthy environment. These three helps to keep the entire eco system healthy and alive for many years together. It is due to excessive air pollution and global warming that the entire eco system is negatively affected today. With a little change in our daily lifestyle, we can definitely help to protect the entire planet with its ecosystem in a healthy condition.
Reduce usage of chemicals and pesticides
It is always advisable to eliminate maximum household chemicals and pesticides that directly pollute the green environment. Instead we can make our own solutions for cleaning purpose using distilled vinegar, lemon and baking soda. There are many ?green? cleaning products available in the market that is environmentally friendly and conventional cleaners too.
Recycle the waste products
Many waste products like glass, plastics, aluminium and paper can be recycled instead of being disposed of into the dustbin. This will prevent any air pollution accumulated by burning these products. We can also use reusable towels and reusable bags rather than using disposable plastics or bags.
Reduce carbon footprints
There are many ways to cut back carbon footprints causing excess air pollution. We can lower the temperature of our water heater, wash dishes manually instead of using a dishwasher, reduce the use of air conditioner or heater and buy energy efficient lights to lower the energy consumption and heat generation level.
