To become an advocate, a person must complete his bachelor's degree in law, i.e., L.L.B (Legum Baccalaureus). The bachelor degree of law can be either of 3 years after Graduation or 5 years after 10+12 in India.

Universities:

Each year, the CLAT will be conducted in May at such center and on such date as the CLAT Committee may notify. The Test will be consisting of objective type questions of a standard

expected of 10+2 students and will be of 2 hours? duration. The test will carry a maximum of 200 marks.

MH CET Law

The exam is conducted for admission to the 3 years LLB & 5 years Integrated LLB courses. It will be managed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. It is a state-level entrance test of Maharashtra. This exam is also called as Maharashtra Law CET. Based on the MH CET score, candidates will get admission to the law colleges situated in Maharashtra state.
