The World Trade Organization (WTO) is the only global international organization that deals with the rules of trade between nations worldwide. The WTO agreements are negotiated and signed by the bulk of the world?s trading nations and ratified in their parliaments. The prominent goal is to ensure that the trade flows as smoothly, predictably, and freely as possible.

WTO is the acronym for the World Trade Organization. The WTO came into existence in 1995 and was created after the culmination of prolonged, intense negotiations which took place under the auspices of the General

Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT). In the Preamble to the Agreement Establishing the WTO, the parties to the Agreement recognize the objectives they wish to attain:
