What if we told you charging your phone could keep you fit? Confused? Well, almost a handful of years ago, two young minds at the age of 19 found a way to do exactly that with a brilliant innovation. Anand Gangadharan and Mohak Balla came up with an idea with enormous potential. They were studying in class 10 when they came up with an idea to generate current using shoes, based on electromagnetic induction. According to their innovation, when people use shoes, due to compression and expansion in sole, current is generated.

Today's generation is busy with their schedules, and usually, they tend to forget to charge their phones. This is when the model comes to the rescue and charges your mobile on the go. These brilliant kids call their innovation as 'Walkie Mobi Charger'. The beauty lies in the duration, so basically when an ordinary charger powers 25%, 'Walkie Mobi Charger' can power 40% of the battery.

The duo took ample time to fine-tune the model as it was built entirely in- house. They tried a couple of models, but the current version is lightweight, attachable to the heels.

It's just another toy in their kitty as Mohak indulged in circuits during his 5th class. The duo are friends from grade 2 and became best friends during class 8th. Though the pair belonged to different academic paths, the bond only grew stronger.

Family support and continuous motivation from teachers made them successfully launch their first innovation in style. Anand and Mohak plan to enter the market once they graduate so that they can get enough time to fine-tune the device. This goes to prove that young Indian Entrepreneurs are making their mark on every right path! Rita Mae Brown rightly says it we quote "Creativity comes from trust. Trust your instincts. And never hope more than you work.?

We wish the duo good luck for all the future endeavours.
